By Dr. Toshiaki Yokoi, Director of IISEE
Dear ex-participants, lecturers, ex-lecturers, and supporters of IISEE:
I am happy to be able to inform you that this IISEE News-Letter is No. 100 issue
milestone. We have been sending IISEE News-Letter since April, 2003.
I would like to appreciate your support, with which we could keep on it for about ten years.
I, also, would like to ask your further support for the next ten years.
Please see the Newsletter attached on page 1
By Dr. Toshibumi Fukuta, Former Director of IISEE
I extend my cordial congratulations on the 100th issue of IISEE Newsletter.
Reading again the papers in those days, the first publication of the IISEE Newsletter
was in April 2003. We published it regularly twice a year, in April and in November,
and irregularly special issues. I am afraid we had no Newsletter in 2004.
In comparison with that time, current issues look better as the newsletter and
contain large volumes and full contents. This success is the result of our successors’ great effort.
I would like to express my gratitude and respectful to them.
Please see the Newsletter attached on page 1&2.
By Dr. N. Hurukawa, Senior Fellow, Former Director of IISEE
I renewed the IISEE Newsletter on October 27, 2006, which had been newly published
by Dr. Fukuta on April 23, 2003.
The message written in No. 6, my first issue, is as follows: “In order to promote the
publication of the IISEE Newsletter and to activate information exchange between
the IISEE staff and ex-participants, we renew the IISEE Newsletter.
